Kilmacolm Farm Tour 

Experience a fantastic farm animal safari from our purpose built 14 seater all weather trailer. You will learn about the machinery and equipment required to look after the land and animals whilst touring the fields and also discover the remains of the old grouse shooting railway line whilst taking in the 360 degree views from the Renfrewshire Heights to Ben Lomond, Glasgow and beyond. There will be plenty opportunities for questions and photos/videos along the way. What other wildlife can you spot – Hen Harrier, Herron, Buzzard, Sparrow Hawk, Brown Hare, Fox, Badger?

Cost: Normal price is £24 per person but we are being given a concession rate of £18 per ticket thanks to Wendy.

Date & times:  Friday 13th September 2024. Tour itself is 2.00-4.00

Where? Kilmacolm Farm, but we might meet at ACCESS and travel up, still not confirmed the arrangements.  If using a minibus ticket will be a few pounds and we will confirm this later.

Host: TBC, but Wendy is the owner/farmer/facilitator/tour guide and she has had some amazing reviews!!

How to prepare for farm tours:

TRAILER TOURS ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 5 YEARS OLD OR FOR PREGNANT WOMEN
Farms are fantastic places to enjoy the great outdoors, however, you should be aware there may be times when animals & machinery are moving around.

Due to uneven surfaces sturdy footwear is recommended along with waterproofs, and a few extra layers.

If you have any allergies please consult with your doctor prior to booking as animals, bedding & feed could aggravate your condition.

No smoking, eating or drinking during the duration of the farm tour.

Hand washing station will be available.
